Random Commentary

You know how much of a non-horror buff I am, but Nachos dragged me to see it, so I have seen the Halloween remake. Personally, I found it boring, but slightly more bloody than the original. I'll be honest, though - I thought the original one was kinda boring and cheesy, as well. Nachos, on the other hand, LOVED it. She's also a bona-fide horror film buff, though - and a die-hard fan of the Halloween movies... even the stupid ones. So, you're probably gonna have to go with her review of it. Hellraiser, though - it's weird, I recently saw a trailer for the new "Midnight Meat Train" movie and as I was watching it, I was literally thinking "hmmm - they should really remake the Hellraisers to make them look less like cheesy, horror soap operas, and more like the badass movies they could be."
