Apparently spam is gay
When I first noticed the annoyance of comment spam here it was pretty much evenly split between two posts - something about technology hating me, and one about me babbling about gay shit. Apparently my gremlin issues don't rate so much in the spam community anymore, because now they are just determined to slip one in on the 'So unbelievably gay' entry. I go in and delete the crap every couple of weeks, and I know that it's spam because it's always on that same one. Thank you spam losers for making the deletion so easy. It doesn't hurt that the address I have the notifications sent to screens out almost all of them as spam anyway, so I know when a real comment comes in anyway. So, while it would be nice to see spammers strung up by their genitals over a pit of fire ants, I don't feel the urge to do it myself because of the convenience of being able to ignore them anyway.
But you know, if you have a fire ant pit handy, and some nice genital hooky things, I'd be happy to go spammer hunting with you. What kind of pheromones do you use for that?

Missed it by that much
Well I was going to post one of those '100 things' memeages as my 100th post, but I spaced it. I don't really have it in me to compile a list of 100 cleverly arranged miscellaneous facts about myself anyway, and I'm sure that around 60 or so I'd start reaching for things worth adding to the list. So instead, as the mood takes me, I'll just post a few longer musings about my past. This should satisfy my need to have something a little more substantial than a paragraph reaction to some random stimulus, and my urge to talk about myself.

New digs
Whee, it's the all new blogospace of Randcom Commentary. Thanks ever so much to the kindness of the PhotoNinja, I now no longer have to deal with the 'upgrade' stupidity at Tripod for my blogging goodness. Now I just have to get back into the habit of blogging the daily blah de blah that is my life. It'll probably be mostly cows, TV and me bitching about meaningless crap, so don't get too excited.
